What our pupils say about the Booster Summer School
“Boosterclub helped me become more confident with talking to other pupils I havent spoken to before. Overall a really good experience.”
“I had lots of fun. My favourite maths task was the treasure hunt involving math questions. I loved writing a story in English and the teachers made it more fun by just being iconic.”
“The Boosterclub teachers were really nice. They talked me through the math work and taught me things I didn’t know. In English, i really liked the descriptive writing, team building and taskmaster activities.”
“My favourite thing about booster club was the method maths session. I really helped me remember what I’ve learned and how to work on my maths gaps. I also enjoyed the games that we played. I found the team very helpful and encouraging. I’d love to do this again in the future.”

What parents are saying
“My son said he likes everything about the experience and wishes it never ends. Kudos to the organisers and the school for the concept, hope this will continue in the future.”
“Charlie has really enjoyed being at school this week and really liked the things he has done. He has been doing things on the computer and drawing and playing games and making friends. But most of all he feels more confident in starting year 7.”
“Boosterclub has been a great opportunity for my son. He’s enjoyed the activities, meeting new teachers and pupils. I think this is brilliant for the children to experience before starting in September.”
“Harry has enjoyed making new friends before the start of term, he’s enjoyed some of the lessons although he thought it would all be fun and not learning. This has been a great way for Harry to adjust to school settings before the start.”
“I feel the summer school has been a real benefit to my daughter. She has made lots of new friends and is excited about starting high school. Gracie has said the helpers have been very friendly and helpful. This has been a very positive experience for her and I would recommend summer school to any child wanting to gain confidence. Many thanks.”
